PURCHASING LOCAL
$2,400,000 Spent in 2023 on fresh, seasonal, produce gown by Arizona farmers.
Pinnacle Prevention and the Arizona Food Bank Network used LFPA funds to purchase nearly $2.4 million dollars worth of food from local farmers through Purchase Local Arizona and Friends of the Farm.
SUPPORTING PRODUCERS
Food was purchased from 227 Producers
in 12 Arizona counties
Of the 227 total producers participating in LFPA-funded programs, 96 have identified as being a socially disadvantaged producer. $1.5 million dollars (or 64% of purchases) were made from these food producers.
DISTRIBUTING ACROSS AZ
Food was distributed to 110 organizations across all 15 Arizona counties
$2.4 million dollars in fresh, nutritious food was distributed to 110 organizations, all of which deliver food to underserved locations across all 15 Arizona counties.
